Seller’s Margin & Profit Calculation

At Swarize, sellers have two common ways to sell and earn. Below we explain the 'Selling Your Own Products' flow and show an example.

Selling Your Own Products

If you have your own products, Swarize will handle the shipping. Your earnings are calculated as follows:

  • Selling Price: You set the price considering shipping and platform fees.
  • Platform Fee: A commission of approximately 5–15% is deducted per sale.
  • Shipping Fee: Swarize deducts delivery charges based on location & weight.
  • Final Profit: You receive the remaining amount after deductions.

Example Profit Calculation (Own Product)

Item Amount (₹)
Selling Price₹2,000
Platform Fee (6%)₹120
Shipping Fee₹130
Final Profit₹1,750

Important Seller Guidelines

  • Sellers can list their own products through Swarize.
  • Ensure your listed products are available and accurately described.
  • Price products smartly to cover costs and maximize earnings.

Tip: Keep shipping & platform fees in mind while setting prices to avoid negative margins.

Security Measures

At Swarize, we prioritize the security of our users’ personal and financial information. To ensure safe transactions:

  • All payments are processed through trusted, encrypted gateways (e.g., Razorpay).
  • We do not support Cash on Delivery (COD) to reduce fraud risk; transactions are prepaid.
  • We do not store card details on our servers — sensitive payment information is handled by payment partners.
  • We use SSL/TLS encryption to protect data in transit and encryption techniques for stored sensitive data.
  • Automated fraud detection systems monitor suspicious activity; some orders may require additional verification.

We continually enhance our security posture and may introduce options like multi-factor authentication (MFA) in the future.

As a user, you have certain rights regarding your personal data. These include:

  • Access: You can request and access the personal information associated with your account (name, email, contact, addresses).
  • Correction: Update incorrect or outdated information via your account settings or by contacting support.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of personal data where permitted; certain records may be retained for legal or tax reasons.
  • Opt-Out: Withdraw consent for marketing communications anytime.

Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described (order processing, support, legal obligations). Afterward, we securely delete or anonymize personal data. Transaction history may be retained longer for legal or tax compliance.
